Two of Europe’s leading private rail freight companies, Belgium’s DL Cargo (DLC) and Swissbased Crossrail, are to merge under the Crossrail banner.
The new company, which will be headquartered in Switzerland, will be one of Europe’s leading independent rail traction providers, with a fleet of 37 mainline locos that is set to grow to 70 in 2009 under existing investment programmes....
