Maersk Line has introduced a new temperature management system for reefer containers, which, it claims, will enable a significant reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Compatible with all microprocessor controllers used in current generation reefer container machinery, QUEST (Quality and Energy efficiency in Storage and Transport) is a software solution, providing a new temperature control regime that Maersk says can cut energy consumption used for cooling by up to 50% without impacting refrigeration efficiency....
