The vexed question of who should operate the Sixth Module (sixth berth and backland) at the Port of Genoa’s Voltri container terminal has taken another turn with the evaluation by a panel of experts of the business plans put forward by the two protagonists, PSA-Sinport (which operates the existing five berths) and Contship Italia SpA (CI).
The panel was made up of two members of the port authority (APG), Pietro Dante Oddone and Avv. Antonella Traverso, along with Com. Oreste Bozzo (formerly the port’s chief pilot), Prof. Enrico Musso and Avv. Alberto Quaglia....
