RAM spreaders has launched a new spreader for harbour mobile cranes with a vertical post centre of gravity adjustment system. The RAM 2730 combines a double beam design with a pivoting post powered by two hydraulic cylinders. The post is connected at the top to the rotator by a pin and the hydraulic reservoir is mounted inside the post to optimise weight distribution.
“The use of a post connection makes it easier to transport, assemble and commission the spreader on site as the post can be stored horizontally during transport,” says RAM....
