ICS Logistics has announced plans for a multi-temperature industrial warehouse complex and transportation terminal to be developed on 44 acres in the Imeson International Industrial Park, close to Jaxport’s Talleyrand, Blount Island and Dames Point Terminals. ICS already operates more than 300,000 ft2 of cold storage facilities in Jacksonville.
Target completion date for the new facility is 4Q/2008. The first phase will comprise a 227,564 ft2 facility capable of storing products at temperatures ranging between -10degC and ambient in 28,000 pallet positions. A future phase would increase footage by 147,000 ft2 (another 8000 pallet slots)....
