Heavy haulage specialist Fagioli SpA has successfuly completed the transfer of four low profile container cranes from Libia Pier to Ronco/Canepa Levante Pier within the Port of Genoa, using its self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) and a barge chartered from a Fincantieri shipyard.
Fagioli won the contract to move the cranes the short distance between Libia and Ronco piers from Genoa Port Authority (APG) following a public tender. APG was committed to transferring the cranes as part of its agreement with Messina Line, which now has the concession at Ronco Pier....
