The schedule set last April for India’s planned Vizhinjam Container Transhipment Terminal in the southern state of Kerala has once again been extended after potential bidders sought more time to study the project.
Extending the deadline for the submission of bids for the fourth time to January 31, the Kerala state government said it does not now expect construction of the Rs53.48B (US$1.34B) terminal to start in December 2008 as planned....
