DP World has embarked on an expansion programme aimed at doubling handling capacity at its Constanta South Container Terminal (CSCT) in Romania to 1.7M TEU/year by 2011 to cope with growing volumes.
A CSCT official said the expansion will see the quay length increase by 520m to 1,500m, an increase in yard area and the addition of three superpost-Panamax quay cranes and new yard gantries....
