Napier and Timaru appear to be the biggest losers after a merger between Maersk’s OC1 and Hamburg Sud’s Trident services saw the combined port roster severely culled. New Plymouth, Napier and Timaru calls have all been dropped, but New Plymouth remains on the Maersk schedule thanks to the latter’s new coastal trans-Tasman operation, Southern Star Express (SSE)....
