Talke Logistics Services of Hurth in Germany is to build and operate a US$38M bulk silo logistics centre at Mesaieed in Qatar on behalf of Qatofin, a leading manufacturer of polyethylene.
The deal is not only the biggest project in Talke’s history, but also one of largest logistics contracts ever signed in the region. When the facility is commissioned in the first quarter of 2009, Talke will become the first logistics service provider to be active in every Middle East country with a petrochemical production industry....
