An eleventh-hour deal between GrainCorp and Asciano’s Pacific National (PN) has “rescued” a major share of grain exports in New South Wales and Victoria for the next five years after the two companies agreed a take-or-pay deal that guarantees eight dedicated train sets for grain haulage.
