Some three years after it was first agreed, DP World and the Yemen Gulf of Aden Port Corp have finalised a joint venture that will see DPW developing and operating the port of Aden’s container handling facilities.
The agreement covers the lease of both Aden Container Terminal (ACT) and nearby Ma’alla Container Terminal (MCT), and a commitment by the joint venture to invest around US$220M to further develop the port....
