Tideworks Technology has been selected by BNSF to provide graphical planning software for a pilot project at its Alliance Intermodal Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Tideworks will integrate its Spinnaker Planning Management System and Traffic Control applications with BNSF’s gate system and mainframe technology.
Railroad intermodal yards have not needed the planning functionality in software for marine terminals as they have traditionally run wheeled yard systems.
