Paolo De Nicola Spa has reported that its licence agreement with Paceco Corp has been renewed for the next four years (2009-2012). This opens the full range of Paceco’s R&D and engineering departments to the Italian company’s sales and marketing in the crane field.
Apart from Portainers and Transtainers, Paceco is involved in developing systems for port security, environmental mitigation, remote monitoring, and inventory tracking among others. Recent developments include the Hybrid Drive Transtainer, the Interceptor Security System (radioscopic inspection of containers), the cable reel carrier system for mains-powered rubber-tyred Transtainers and OCR recognition of container ISO ID numbers linked to a tracking/ managing system of the yard....
