French shipping giant CMA CGM has signed an agreement with Lattakia Port General Company (LPGC) to manage and operate a container terminal in the Syrian port for a period of 10 years, extendable to 15 years - the same duration as ICTSI obtained for its concession in Tartous in November 2006.
The Lattakia terminal will be operated by a consortium comprising CMA CGM/Terminal Link, with a 51% stake and Souria Holding a Syrian limited liability company with the remaining 49%....
