APM Terminals has introduced a new rail shuttle service from the Port of Aarhus to serve the Danish capital of Copenhagen. The service offers shippers a five hour transit time and frequency of up to three departures a week.
The new service promises significant “eco-benefits,” says the company, as the Copenhagen rail terminal is “ideally located” close to the main customers and distribution centres, removing truck traffic from Copenhagen streets and Danish highways....
