A new study by consultants Frost & Sullivan has concluded that container traffic at India’s ports will reach 21M TEU by 2014, from 9.1M TEU in 2008.
“Trade has grown at a compound annual rate of over 25.3% over the past five years. Since a greater share of trade is moving towards finished goods requiring containerisation, box traffic is experiencing impressive growth,” said a Frost & Sullivan analyst....
