Gottwald Port Technology has reported that existing customer Associated Terminals, LLC of Louisiana has ordered another Generation 5, G HPK 6400 B floating crane for its lightering operations on the Lower Mississippi.
The new crane, which is scheduled to enter service next February, is a 4-rope grab crane with a capacity on the ropes (grab plus) of 50t out to 31m. Depending on the terminal and operating conditions, it can handle up to 1000 tph....
