ICTSI’s concession in Syria at Tartous, Tartous International Container Terminal (TICT), is scheduled to take delivery this month of two Panamax container cranes - the first ship-to-shore gantry cranes in the port where, up to now, TICT has been using mobile harbour cranes.
As previously reported, the cranes were ordered by Tartous Port General Trust from Greecebased C Rokas SA, which subcontracted the engineering and design and supply of some key components, includng the ac drive controls and electronic antisway system, to Konecranes....
