Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd has expanded its footprint in the Indian ports market by buying 22,877,500 equity shares in Vizag Seaport Pvt Ltd (VSPL) from International Port Services, the investment arm of Portia Management Services of the UK.
As a result of the purchase, Gammon Infrastructure’s shareholding in VSPL has increased to 73.76%, making VSPL a subsidiary of the company with effect from October 1, 2009....
