Container interchange specialist SynchroNet Mar ine Inc has formed a new sister company, SynchroNet Intermodal Services Inc (SIS), to take over the services previously provided by its US domestic division.
SIS provides ramp-to-ramp stacktrain transportation, capacity availability, customised asset management services and online equipment visibility services. It also offers opportunities for container owners to reposition empty equipment throughout North America by designing, managing and executing the most efficient system for ocean carriers, third parties (IMCs, NVOCCs, freight forwarders, leasing companies and traders) and truckers, to meet objectives for container reuse....
