APM Terminals (APMT) has commissioned a state-of-the-art container crane simulator at Apapa Container Terminal (ACT) in Nigeria.
Supplied by India-based ARI Simulation, the new simulator, the first of its kind in the West and Central African sub-region, was installed at a cost of N52.5 (US$350M) to train crane operators in the operation of the quayside gantry cranes and RTGs in use at the terminal, most of which were acquired by APM Terminals in 2007 and 2008....
