Outlook still good...but less so?
Based on estimates made near the end of September, the market for reach stackers this year is expected to top 800, with an error margin of ± 30 units. Such a level of production would be a world record.
This forecast does not include Kalmar RTCHs, thought to account for another 70 machines this year, but does include conventional designs ordered for US military use in connection with Iraq. Adding in the RTCHs, more than 900 reach stackers could be produced globally this year....
