Last year’s record figure of 334 for new ship-to-shore crane orders (measured July-June) has not quite been reached this time around. Tables 1A and 1B opposite show 323 new cranes, of which ZPMC (Table 1B) accounts for 240. Of these, 123 are for terminals located outside China (including SAR Hong Kong).
ZPMC’s export orders include 29 cranes for terminals operated by APM Terminals either alone or as a joint venture; 17 for D P World operations/joint ventures; and 12 for Hutchison Port Holdings’ operations/joint ventures....
