There are no reliable figures on heavy lift truck production, but with almost all producers enjoying good and even record volumes, output of reach stackers could top 1000 this year. Add to that more than 500 high-stacking (≥ 6-high) EC mast trucks, and 400-500 4/5 high EC mast trucks, laden container mast trucks, other heavy FLTs and EC reach stackers.
The supply side is growing, too. In China, for example, Dalian and Heli will soon be joined by a third company trying to break into the reach stacker market, Sany (based in Changsu)....
