Catcher Holdings Inc, a Virginia-based supplier of ruggedised portable handheld computers, has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Vivato Networks Inc for 2,500,000 shares of common stock in Catcher Holdings.
Vivato entered the wireless market in 2002 with a powerful WiFi base station technology using patented packet steering phased array technology to send wireless signals up to two miles. Vivato attracted US$65M in venture capital but investors pulled the plug in 2005 after the company failed to make a profit....
