RTG output soared in 2006, but will fall back by 30% in 2007 towards 2005 levels. Business is still strong, with over 660 cranes booked for delivery this year and already more than 340 in 2008.
Although the RTG manufacturing sector will build at least one third fewer cranes during 2007, as compared to 2006, business is still strong for many manufacturers. Global production total predicted for 2007 is already, at 664 units, on a level with that achieved in 2005 and higher than any previous year....
