It is no secret that Grimaldi does not regard lo-lo container stevedoring as core business and would like to sell off part of Finnsteve, which it controls through its 65% stake in Finnlines.
To facilitate a sale, at the start of this year Finnsteve was divided into three separate units: Finnsteve Oy Ab remains the parent company, with administration, marketing and operations in Turku, as well as ro-ro services in Vuosaari.
