HHLA, the Port of Hamburg’s biggest container terminal operator, is understood to have reached an agreement to build a new US$300M container terminal in the Port of Odessa, Ukraine’s largest, state-run sea port.
The port’s existing container terminal, which has a capacity of 450,000 TEU/year, has been managed since January 2005 by a local subsidiary of HHLA’s affiliate Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC Ukraina) under a 10-year deal....
