Eurogate and ICTSI have announced new appointments
A former Hamburg economics minister, Gunther Bonz, will join the management of terminal operator Eurogate in June this year. He will act as General Agent of the company.
International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI) has named Krzysztof Szymborski as CEO and General Manager of Baltic Container Terminal (BCT) in Gdynia. Szymborski joins from Gdansk Port Authority. Before that he was with Gdynia Port Authority and before that with Dubai Drydocks.
Southampton Shipowners’Association has elected Peter Roberts of the Solent Steam Packet Ltd, as Chairman of the Association for 2009, succeeding Roger Thornton, FICS, general mManager of Wainwright Bros Co Ltd, who will continue to serve on the Association’s executive committee. Nick Jeffery of Solent Towage has been elected Vice Chairman for the coming year.
