Dr Sebastian Jürgens is resigning from HHLA after a policy disagreement with fellow Board Members

Dr Sebastian Jürgens is resigning his post as logistics director and main Board member of Hamburg terminal operator HHLA and will leave by the end of this year.
It is understood that their have been disagreements over strategic choices, particularly in the segment of intermodal. Dr Jürgens’ responsibilities will be taken care of by the chairman of HHLA, Klaus-Dieter Peters, pending an appointment to replace Dr Jürgens.
In a Christmas letter to local staff, David Yang, PSA International's Euro-Med regional director, has stated that Francesco Costa is stepping down as Managing Director of Voltri Terminal Europa in Genoa with effect from 7 January 2012. He will be replaced by Giuseppe Gìlberto Danesi and Paolo Maccarini, both from PSA Vecon in Venice, as General Manager and Head of Terminal respectively. Costa will remain involved in a consultancy role with PSA.
Kim Gadegaard has been appointed Commercial Director for Noatum Terminals, based at the company's new HQ in Valencia. Gadegaard has had a long career with A P Moller–Maersk and for the two years has acted as a senior consultant for Mercator, advising on terminal acquisitions and shipping line restructuring.
Brookfield Infrastructure Group has announced that Doug Tilden, former CEO of Marine Terminals Corp., has joined the company as senior consultant for its ports business. Brookfield is planning to expand its ports portfolio in the Americas.
Oregon International Port of Coos Bay Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Bishop has announced his resignation with effect from 26 December 2011. Bishop is resigning to pursue an opportunity outside of the port industry. The Port Commission and staff are searching for a new CEO.
Henrique Aché is to leaving his post as development director of MRS Logística with effect from 1 January 2012, to concentrate fully on strategic policy. His development post will be taken by Fabrícia Souza, who is currently general manager of strategic planning.
Kansas City Southern (KCS) has promoted Ginger L Adamiak from general director investor relations and financial analysis, to assistant vice president sales and marketing within the carload business unit.
SBS Worldwide has appointed Ron Gatlin as General Manager of its Atlanta office.
Continental Tyre Group in the UK has promoted Rebecca Shedden to general sales manager, industrial, UK and Ireland.
