Molly Campbell , Deputy Executive Director of the Finance and Administration group at the Port of Los Angeles has been appointed by IAPH President Dr Geraldine Knatz , who is the CEO of the port, as Vice Chair of the IAPH Port Finance and Economics Committee. This is a new committee that was formed in Jerusalem, Israel in May this year, when the IAPH met for its Mid-term Ports Conference and Board Meeting.
Patrick Verhoeven is leaving his post as Secretary-General of the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO to become Secretary General of the European Community Shipowners’ Associations (ECSA), where he will succeed Alfons Guinier who is retiring next year. By agreement between ESPO and ECSA, Mr Verhoeven will not formally take up his new position before June.
