Latest round-up of personnel changes known to WorldCargo News in the shipping, ports and related sectors

Maersk Line Limited in the USA recently named J Russell Bruner as its next President and CEO. He will succeed John F Reinhart , who will step down on January 31, 2014 to become the CEO and Executive Director of Virginia Port Authority (VPA). The post is based in Norfolk, Virginia.
VPA announced Reinhart as its new CEO at the end of October. He will succeed Rodney W Oliver, VPA's CFO who took over as interim CEO after Joe Dorto stepped down in September 2012.
Gary Lee Moore was recently appointed interim executive director of the Port of Los Angeles (POLA). We previously reported the retirement of Dr Geraldine Knatz from this post, following a change in the Los Angeles mayoralty.
Modern Terminals Limited, Hong Kong, has appointed Erick Wong as General Manager, Customer Service Delivery. He was previously general manager, operations with APL Logistics, Hong Kong and South China Region.
Laurent Martens has resigned as President of the Board of Guadeloupe Port Caraïbes with effect from 30 November, to become a Vice President of Terminal Link at CMA CGM.
Scott Lord has been appointed CEO of US-based terminal tractor manufacturer Capacity of Texas, Inc, part of Allied Specialty Vehicles. He replaces Phillip Ford, who has left the company to become CEO of OTR Wheel Engineering in Georgia.
Tsubaki Kabelschlepp has appointed Peter Marzinek as Head of Sales for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Markus Fuch has been appointed Head of International Sales, while Oliver Obermeier, Head of Strategic Marketing, is now responsible for strategic market development and product management for cable carrier systems and Traxline cables.
Christophe Bernard has been appointed CEO of JF Hillebrand Group AG, with effect from 1 January 2014. He replaces Gérard Desbois, who will now join the Supervisory Board. Hillebrand has also made several other changes at Executive Board level, effective from next January. Pierre Benichou has been appointed deputy CEO, Gavin Herman as COO, Leendert Vis as CIO and Pierre Bonel as CCO. Kevin Brock remains CFO.
Netherlands-based CEVA Logistics recently announced that Marvin O Schlanger will retire as CEO effective 2 January, 2014 and will be succeeded by Xavier Urbain. A former head of road and rail logistics at Kuenhe & Nagel, Urbain joins Ceva from HL Holdings, where he was President. Schanger will resume the post of Non-Executive Chairman at Ceva, which he formerly occupied between 2009 and 2012.
Kuehne & Nagel has appointed Reinhard Schullerus as its new Head of Global Sales and Marketing, with effect from January next year. He has been with K & N for almost 20 years. Kuehne & Nagel has also named Markus Blanka-Graff as its new CFO. He will replace Gerard van Kesteren, who is retiring on 1 July 2014 after spending 25 years with the firm.
Geodis Wilson has announced the appointment of Igor Muñiz as Competence Head for Industrial Projects in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, based in Singapore.
