Peter Ganz has announced that he is stepping down from Hapag-Lloyd's Supervisory Board and will resign as the company's CFO with effect from 1 April. His successor is Nicolas Burr, since 2012 the CFO of CSAV, now merged with Hapag-Lloyd.
Marc Assmann has been appointed Head of the Trade Management Division at OPDR.
Hansa Heavy Lift has appointed Joerg Roehl to manage its business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, based in Singapore. Joerg Roehl is HHL's Chief Commercial Officer and one of its three Group Managing Directors. He replaces Jesper Traerup, who has run the APAC region for HHL for almost four years.
Tau Morwe will retire from his posts as CEO of Transnet National Ports Authoriity and Member of the Group Executive Committee at the end of April, after 17 years with the Transnet Group. The announcement was made by Brian Molefe, CEO of Transnet Group, on 25 March.
