Rickmers-Linie has appointed Wouter Huybrechts as new President/CEO of Rickmers-Linie (America), Inc. Huybrechts joined Rickmers-Linie in 1992 as a member of the sales and marketing team when the company established a subsidiary in Belgium. It is not known at this juncture where Waldemar Poulsen, who replaced Robert Sappio in this post in June 2014, has moved to.
Houston, US-based Intermarine, LLC has named Lars Bonnesen as Chartering Director, Europe. Bonnesen co-founded Scan Trans and served as Managing Director for 19 years until the company’s merger with Intermarine in 2012.
MacGregor has appointed Zhengyu ("Frank") Li as Vice President, Head of China. He will be a member of the MacGregor Group Executive Team and based in Shanghai.
Wilhelmsen Ships Service has appointed Frank Liang as Regional Offshore Manager Asia, tasked with building the company’s business with rig contractors.
Mark Preece has joined the Port of Tyne in North East England as a Non-Executive Director. Previously CEO for CEONA Offshore, Mark brings extensive senior management, commercial, operations and business development experience gained both in the UK and international oil, gas and offshore renewable energy markets.
Swiss-based European multimodal logistics specialist Ultra-Brag, a leading multi-purpose stevedore in Switzerland's Rhine ports, has announced that Beat Heydich is retiring as CEO with effect from April 2016, after 30 years with the company. His successor has been named as Thomas Knopf, who has spent the last 23 years with Fiege Schweiz and was CEO for the past 15 years.
Jungheinrich UK Ltd has made four appointments to its Systems & Projects Division. Harry Chana and Simon Bourne take up roles as Design Managers for the Projects Operation. Andy MacLeod and Stuart Orchard have been appointed as Racking Sales Managers for the Northern and Eastern regions respectively.
Kewill, a UK-based provider of software for supply chain execution, has announced that Bob Farrell will step down as CEO, with Doug Braun assuming full responsibility as the new CEO in December this year.
