Eli Glickman has now taken office as President and Chief Executive Officer of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd, as planned, succeesing Rafi Danieli.
President of Lauritzen Kosan and interim head of dry bulk activities, Thomas Wøidemann, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of J Lauritzen with effect from 1 July 2017, with responsibility for commercial and operational activities of Lauritzen Bulkers as well as Lauritzen Kosan.
Assiterminal (Associazione italiana dei terminalisti portuali) has a new President in Luca Becce (Managing Director of TDT Terminal Darsena Toscana Livorno), while outgoing President Marco Conforti becomes a Vice President. Other members of the Board are Alberto Casali, Matteo Catani, Franco Corradi, Giuseppe Danesi, Galliano Di Marco, Piero Fabiano, Silvio Garrè, Roberto Goglio, Pasquale Legora De Feo, Enio Lorenzini, Paolo Maccarini, Edoardo Monzani, Ubaldo Scarpati, Giulio Schenone, Roberto Semenzato, Roberto Spinelli, Vito Leonardo Totorizzo and Fabrizio Zerbini.
Associated British Ports has appointed Phil Nolan Non-Executive Chairman of Associated British Ports Holdings Ltd. He replaces Robert Walvis who retired as Chairman on 28 February. Mr Nolan is currently also Non-Executive Chairman of Ulster Bank Ireland DAC, John Laing Group Plc and Affinity Water Limited.
The Swedish port of Trelleborg has a new CEO, with Jörgen Nilsson taking over from Tommy Halén who is leaving the organisation to seek new challenges. Mr. Nilsson was previously deputy CEO of DHL Freight Sverige AB.
The Port of Milford Haven has appointed Chris Martin as its new Chairman. Mr Martin has been appointed by the Secretary of State for Transport and will take up the post on 1st August 2017. He has been Vice Chairman of the port for the last four and a half years, a role he will relinquish.
Genesee & Wyoming, Inc has announced the appointment of Gary R Long as CEO of its UK/Europe operating region, which is led by the UK’s Freightliner. He succeeds Russell Mears, who will transition to the role of Senior Advisor in Q3 2017. Long was President and CEO of the North American freight railroad holding company OmniTRAX, Inc.
ContainerPort Group has appointed James R Kramer Senior Vice President-Midwest. He will lead the company’s Midwest Region (Area Midwest encompasses CPG’s Ohio Valley, Great Lakes and Midwest regions) and oversee the field operations and commercial development initiatives.
Greencarrier Freight Services International AB welcomes Peter Vallenthin, former Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Norwegian Post (Bring) onto its Board of Directors as of 1st October.
