Hamburg, Germany: The Schulte Group has announced that Norbert Aschmann will leave Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement at the end of this year and will be succeeded by Ian Beveridge as Chief Executive Officer with effect from January 1st, 2018. Mr Beveridge is currently CEO of Bernhard Schulte and will retain this responsibility from that date.
Los Angeles City Council has confirmed that long-time Wilmington community advocate Lucia Moreno-Linares has been appointed to the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners. She replaces Patricia Castellanos, who recently stepped down to focus on a new career opportunity.
Mike Ryan, a Master Mariner and former RN Coammander, has been appointed Marine Director/Harbourmaster at the Port of Milford Haven, succeeding Bill Post, who will retire at the end of October after 18 years in post.

Strasbourg, France: France's Commission Centrale pour la Navigation du Rhin (CCNR) has reported that Lucie Fahrner has been appointed Communications Officer, succeeding Clémentine Hurbourque in the post. Joining from a communications post with Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg, Mme Fahrner's responsibilities extend to communication strategies of CDNI (waste disposal) and CESNI (navigation standards).
