Kalmar books seven RTGs

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has reported an order for seven RTGs in Algeria

The order followed a call for tender launched by the Algerian port procurement company Groupement D'Interêt Commun Des Entreprises Portuaires (GICEP). The value of the order is approximately €10M. It has been booked into Cargotec's Q4 2016 order intake and the equipment will be delivered to the customer during the Q3 2017.

All the type E-One² RTGs will be delivered to the Port of Oran Container Terminal, which is currently embarking on an expansion project. The delivery includes Kalmar SmartPort process automation systems Kalmar SmartProfile, Kalmar SmartRail and Kalmar SmartFleet.
