Cavotec has engineered and supplied 29 systems for controlling “remotecontrolled” STS cranes from the ground during commissioning and maintenance. These are not normal operating conditions, and there is a need for a “teleop” unit that can operate the crane safely, separate from
the main controls, often at limited speeds.
