Cargotec slips into the red

Cargotec has reported a loss on the first six months’ trading this year of E3.9M, after writing off E21.9M in restructuring costs. This compares with an operating profit of E107.3M in the first half of 2008.Comparing the two first halves, orders received came to E928M (E2.168B), and sales were E1.353B (E1.627B). The orderbook at the end of June 2009 stood at E2.555B, compared to E3.054B at the end of December 2008. Kalmar’s share of order intake in 2Q/09 came to E187M (E363M in 2Q/08).
