Samskip adds ECL

Samskip to retrofit its multipurpose vessel with hydrogen fuel cell technology developed by TECO 2030. 

Samskip and Matrans Rotterdam Terminal have launched a new “green” terminal in Rotterdam, enhancing control over vessel, rail, and barge operations.

Furthermore, with the addition of a newly opened office in Bilbao, Samskip sets up to support its growth strategy in the Iberian Peninsula.

Samskip inaugurates a dedicated shortsea service connecting Rotterdam, Oslofjord, and the UK.

Samskip is adding the port of Klaipeda to its Baltic Sea service network to increase service capacity.

In zero-emission mode, two Sea Shuttles are expected to achieve around 25,000 tons of CO2 reduction per year, and zero emission operations in ports as well.
