The Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL), the leading trade association for the container and chassis leasing industries, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, at least four bidders, including private-equity firms and rival container leasing companies, are vying to buy GE SeaCo, the world’s fifth largest box lessor.
