CSX Corporation subsidiary Transflo Terminal Services Inc plans to open a network of bulk chemical transloading terminals in conjunction with Union Pacific (UP) to extend service to nonrail served customers.

The programme began last month with the conversion of four current UP locations at Portland, Oregon, Santa Fe Springs, California, Henderson, Nevada, and Rifle, Colorado, to Transflo-operated terminals. It is planned to expand the transload service throughout the UP rail network.
