Speaking at the UK Rail Freight Group’s annual conference in September, Maersk Sealand UK operations manager Stephen Bracewell warned that as freight volumes increase, a failure to deliver required and timely rail capacity will result in an effective reduction in rail market share for maritime containerised traffic.
