CP Rail eyes transformational merger

The merger of Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (CP) and Kansas City Southern (KCS) is inching towards completion. This month, the railroads announced that they have received the required regulatory pre-transaction control approvals from the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission and the Mexican Federal Telecommunications Institute.
