Deeper draught for Port of Abidjan
The project to widen the Vridi Canal, which provides access to the Port of Abidjan via Ébrié Lagoon, has been completed. The canal, which was originally built in 1951, has been deepened from 14m to 22m, and widened from 200m to 350m.
