New vessels planned for Mississippi River

American Patriot Container Transport LLC (APC) is looking for US shipyards to build a new class of container vessel for the Mississippi River. Its parent company, American Patriot Holdings (APH), began working on an inland container vessel for the Mississippi in 2016 as an alternative to road and rail transport for cargo to destinations as far inland as Memphis, Tennessee.
