A Capital deal for Seawheel

UK-based short sea and intermodal operator Seawheel has signed a E3.7 mill sale and lease back deal with Capital Intermodal covering over 1200 TEU of nearly-new equipment owned by Seawheel.

The move comes shortly after the company’s senior management completed a buyout of Seawheel’s business from the Simon Group (see WorldCargo News July 2003, p15) and forms part of the restructuring of its funding arrangements.
