US depot operator Equipment Management Services (EMS) has bucked the trend by opening a new container depot operation in New Orleans.
A wholly owned subsidiary of EMS Houston, the New Orleans depot is a fullservice facility and has already secured agreements with a number of leasing companies and carriers. “We look at this as an opportunity in a recovering market and feel that the high level of service we bring into the New Orleans market will be welcomed,” said EMS president Kevin Smith.
