EU votes to impose tariffs on Chinese electric cars

China’s Ministry of Transport has extended the use of fuel with a maximum 0.5% sulphur content to 11 ports. The initiative commenced in September 2015, when the ministry implemented its Ship and Port Pollution Prevention Special Action Plan (2015-2020), a five-year programme
aimed at cutting sulphur and nitrogen oxide emissions in the main port areas of the country by up to 65%
